The 2022 NFL Draft is in the books and it's time to take a look back and see which teams prioritized athletic traits in their draft selections. We'll use the Next Gen Stats (NGS) to help us identify the teams that drafted the most athletic players in the first three rounds.

NGS tracks a variety of athletic metrics, including speed, acceleration, agility, and explosiveness. These metrics can be used to create a composite athletic score for each player. We'll use this score to rank the teams that drafted the most athletic players in Rounds 1-3.

Top 5 Teams That Drafted the Most Athletic Players

1. Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens had the highest average athletic score of any team in Rounds 1-3. They drafted a total of eight players with an athletic score of 9.0 or higher, including Kyle Hamilton, Tyler Linderbaum, and David Ojabo. 2. Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles were another team that prioritized athleticism in the draft. They drafted a total of seven players with an athletic score of 9.0 or higher, including Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, and James Bradberry. 3. Indianapolis Colts: The Colts drafted a total of six players with an athletic score of 9.0 or higher, including Alec Pierce, Jelani Woods, and Nick Cross. 4.
