French phenom Alex Sarr joins Perth Wildcats

American basketball prodigy makes big move to Australia

18-year-old rising star signs with NBL powerhouse

The Perth Wildcats have made a major signing in free agency, adding French phenom Alex Sarr to their roster. The 18-year-old forward, born on 26 April 2005, has been making waves internationally and is considered one of the most promising young talents in the game.

Sarr, who stands 6'10" (2.08m), played for the NBA G League Ignite team last season, averaging 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He also represented France at the FIBA U19 World Cup, where he averaged 14.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game and was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Perth Wildcats are excited to have Sarr on board, and believe he has the potential to be a star in the NBL. "Alex is a special talent, and we're thrilled to have him join our team," said Wildcats coach John Rillie. "He's a versatile player who can score, rebound, and defend. We're looking forward to seeing him develop his game and make an impact on our team."

Sarr is the first Next Star signing for the Perth Wildcats, and his arrival is a major coup for the club. He is expected to play a significant role for the Wildcats in the upcoming season, and could help them challenge for the NBL championship.
