India Announce Squad for ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024
Tournament to Feature 15-Player Squads

New Delhi, India - The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 15-player squad that will represent the country at the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament will be held from June 12th to July 6th in the United States and the West Indies.
India were the runners-up in the previous edition of the World Cup, which was held in Australia in 2022. They will be hoping to go one step further this year and win their second T20 World Cup title.
The Indian squad includes a number of experienced players, such as captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah. There are also some exciting young talents in the squad, such as Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan.
India will kick off their World Cup campaign against Ireland on June 12th. They will also face New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan in the group stage.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The final will be held on July 6th at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
